Job Title: 3rd/4th Year Apprentice Electrician
Job Summary:
As a 3rd/4th Year Apprentice Electrician, you will work alongside experienced electricians to assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. This position requires a strong understanding of electrical concepts, safety protocols, and hands-on experience in the field. You will be expected to contribute to various projects, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to all safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment.
• Follow blueprints and technical diagrams to install or repair electrical systems.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Conduct tests and inspections of electrical systems to identify and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with senior electricians to learn best practices and improve skills.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project status and needs.
Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in or completed a recognized electrical apprenticeship program (3rd or 4th year).
• Previous experience in both commercial and residential electrical work is required.
• A minimum of 3,000 to 6,000 hours of in-field experience is necessary.
• Basic knowledge of electrical theory and practices.
• Familiarity with tools and equipment used in electrical work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Punctuality and reliability are crucial for this position.
• Ability to work throughout the Plymouth area, including Boston.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and follow instructions.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• 3 professional references required.
